Five Years

Today July 8,2012. Yesterday was July 7,2012 we celebrated our togetherness for five years and tomorrow July 9,2012 we will celebrate our first anniversary of marriage. Hihihihi.
It was all started with our friendship in STAN. We were classmate when we were junior. With others we had a close friendship. We separated on sophomore but we still be bestfriend. At July 7,2007 you asked me to be your girlfriend. I said let's gave it a try.
I could still remember that night. Half an hour to midnight. On a saturday night. After watched accoustic in Plasma. Oh yes you were wearing that brown shirt that last week i told you to put it off. Hahaha. Funny i could remember that.
We celebrated our first anniversary in Dufan all day long. We graduated and met our parents in JCC. We handled that long distance relationship until we got ourselves moved to Balikpapan and Bontang. And after our third anniversary we planned to get married.
That was a long road. At our fourth anniversary July 7,2011 we were sat together practiced our wedding rehearsal. Hahahaha. On the next day,that was a year ago, we had siraman and midodareni. That was a long road.
I never know that you would be my husband. I never know that you would be my boyfriend at first place either. This was God's plan. Never been a coincidence. I never know what future wait for us ahead. But for sure that will always be our best.

Wedding Prep Memories

Almost a year from our July 9th,2011. Time flies, huh? Months before my wedding day i stuffed myself with bunch of wedding stories. Blogs, websites, mailing lists. Hahaha.

Life isn't a fairy tale

Hobi baca -novel, komik dari yang horor sampe serial cantik, koran atau apa aja- bikin saya menginginkan fairy tale itu ada. Kecintaan pada Disney's princesses, royal family stories all around the world, cerita-cerita film Inggris di abad pertengahan bikin saya ngerasa hidup jadi putri itu menyenangkan. Pada akhirnya sadar sendiri, i'm not even a royal. Novel-novel romantis kemudian mengubah haluan, betapa menyenangkan menjadi gadis yang selalu mendapatkan apapun yang dia mau, memang bukan seorang putri tapi selalu punya prince charming sigap di saat apa pun. Pokoknya si gadis selalu diselamatkan oleh tipe pangeran yang sempurna. Bukankah cerita-cerita romantis selalu berakhir seperti itu? Tokoh utama wanita yang melalui apa pun dalam hidupnya pada akhirnya mendapatkan pangeran tampan dan hidup bahagia selamanya.

Memang ya yang namanya hidup itu kalo gak dijalanin dulu ya gak akan ketauan gimana ceritanya. Pacaran sama si jelek menyadarkan bahwa yang namanya happy ever after itu harus diperjuangkan. Cerita Cinderella hanya berakhir di pernikahan dan ditutup dengan kalimat "..and they lived happily ever after." Dari pernikahan sampai akhir yang sebenarnya, bagaimana mereka punya anak kemudian anak mereka tumbuh besar kemudian bagaimana mereka meninggal kita gak pernah tahu. We have to find that by ourselves.

So true that i love Kate Middleton, how a commoner -millionaire commoner, exactly- married to a prince. Becoming a future queen. That's a life that every girl in the world would die for. But let's back to reality, i'm happy with what i've got. A handsome and caring husband, a bestfriend-turned-husband for real. From him i learned a lot that life isn't a fairy tale. We will have our own obstacles, different point of views, but after all it's love that made us through all of those years. And we should respect that. I may not live like Kate Middleton, but hey, we're all have our own luck. Hahaha.

It's good to have a dream living a fairy tale life but let's face the reality. If you want it, fight for it.

Lamaaaa banget pengen posting kayak gini, tapi akhirnya baru kesampaian sekarang. Inget banget dulu si jelek pernah bilang, hidup kan gak melulu seperti di novel. Gak seindah cerita-cerita karangan. Semua harus diperjuangkan. Apalagi kalo pas lagi ngambek-ngambekan. Hahaha.

Love you, jelek. Let's live happily ever after! :3
